millennium bridge house

We are delighted to announce that one of largest planted rooftops in the City of London has been granted planning consent as part of the refurbishment and extension of Millennium Bridge House on the banks of the Thames.

Working alongside our clients Angelo Gordon/Beltane Asset Management and architects Piercy and Co we designed a vast roof top environment that encourages biodiversity, attenuates rainwater and reduces the urban heat island effect. The 2,527sqm rooftop landscape includes a publicly accessible terrace overlooking Tate Modern, a 570sqm restaurant terrace which maximise urban greening and external amenity space with spectacular views over the River Thames and north to St Paul’s.
