members of the design team collaborate on their work

Our studio is a place of nurture and learning where people can thrive. We have created a happy place to work with a dedicated passionate team.

At ASD we like to look after our team and their families and so we offer a very generous and comprehensive package of benefits including income protection, enhanced sick pay, life insurance, critical illness cover, workplace pension scheme, cycle to work scheme and private medical insurance.

We also take career development seriously and pay professional membership fees and assist with financial and educational support through the Pathway to Chartership.  We have the regular CPDs that you would expect and are open to any ideas that make the workplace more interesting and our practice more professional.

And of course we like to have fun.   We have regular events and parties including an annual overseas trip. Being based in central Brighton we have all its amenities from Bars to Beaches virtually on our doorstep.   The countryside is just a stone’s throw away.

We remain an office based practice valuing the collaborative nature of face to face working but we are also embracing more flexible working practices that promote a good work : life balance.

Current opportunities:

We’re currently actively looking for a new Senior Landscape Architect, Landscape Architect and Project Landscape Architect  to join our team.

We are always interested in hearing from people with strong design skills and a passion for excellence who are appropriately qualified and/or experienced.

If you would like to be considered for a role in our studio please email a cv and portfolio with a covering letter to careers@andysturgeon.com with the role for which you are applying in the subject line.

Our main office is located in central Brighton surrounded by vibrant amenities like bars and beaches.  The beautiful South Downs just a short distance away. We’re also in the process of opening a satellite office in London. While we recognize the benefits of remote work, these positions require a majority of in-person attendance at either office to provide the necessary support and guidance.
